Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: Gayatri gets killed; her funeral to take place in the palace!
In the recent episode, we saw the women of the royal family assembling for a special worship to ward off the evil spirit of a man who was killed by one of the Princesses of the clan eons ago. The ritual worship begins and all the women apply vermillion to each other as they do in Holi. Signalling Raj Mata, Gayatri takes the wheelchair bound Badi Rani Ma towards a well and gives her many jerks on her way to teach her a lesson for all the wrongs done by her in the recent past.
Meanwhile, Kunwaji asks his gay son Lakshya Raj to give his name to the son who would be born to Princess Swarnalekha from another man. When Lakshya refuses to obey Kunwarji, the latter threatens to take away his surname and the title of prince from Lakshya.
On the other hand, Gayatri begins taunting Badi Rani and instigating her by bringing her near a deep well. Badi Rani suddenly pushes Gayatri into the well and begins shedding crocodile tears about the incident. Raj Mata, Swarnalekha and other women rush towards the well hearing Gayatri’s cry for help. Ranaji also hears the cry, but before he could reach out to Gayatri, his evil uncle stops him mid-way barring him from visiting the restricted area meant for ladies only.
Meanwhile, Gayatri breathes her last as help comes late to rescue her. The ladies of the family mourn Gayatri’s demise as her dead body is procured from the well.
