Yamraj tries his hand at football in SAB TV’s Yam Hai Hum!
In the upcoming episodes of SAB TV’s Yam Hai Hum we will see Yamraj try his hand at football. Baldev gets a call informing him about his Tauji’s demise and that he has inherited a house worth Rs. 1 crore in a village called Bamnikheda. After getting the news Baldev and Bindiya leave for the village, but forget to carry the house documents along. When Yamraj realizes that Baldev has left the papers behind, he along with Chitragupt and Dhumorna follow them to the village.
Yam who has never been to a village before is amazed by this new environment and decides to explore the surroundings with Chitragupt and Dhurmona in tow. During their stay in the village Yam also helps the villagers and solves their problems thereby gaining their trust. The villagers confide in him about various atrocities they are suffering at the hands of Chote Babu who has usurped their land and refuses to hand it back to them. Chote Babu then challenges Yam to a football match and agrees to part away with the it only if Yam’s team beats his team in the sport.
Manav Gohil who plays Yamraj said, “I love playing my sports and football is one of my favourites. Unfortunately I couldn't play much because Yam kicking the ball could hurt humans. Also it was a challenge to shoot in the heavy Yamraj attire. However, with the soccer fever gripping India, I am sure the audience will love this version with a lot desi masala.”
