Nimboli and Chakor at crossroads - Who will survive the death attack at Chhath mela? (PICS)
As the festive season peaks, COLORS’ viewers are in for a double treat as two of television’s biggest shows Balika Vadhu and Udann come together for a Maha Mela episode. This special episode will feature Balika Vadhu’s Anandi and Nimboli and Udann’s Kasturi and Chakor as they come together to pray for the welfare of their respective families and ring in celebrations for Chhath Puja. The innocence of Chakor and Nimboli will shine through their performance on the hugely popular title song of Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo.
Azadganj will witness a major twist as Anandi will be seen fasting for Nimboli’s welfare and Chakor will be fasting for the restoration of her mother Kasturi’s lost memory during Chhath Puja. However, the mother-daughter jodis will end up being the victom of Badrinath, Harkhi and Bhaiyyaji's plan to bring an end to Anandi, Nimboli, Kasturi and Chakor’s lives. Bhaiyyaji, in fact, will also be seen plotting to send Chunni for the Chhath Puja with the aim to take Chakor’s place. While the two young girls are enjoying themselves, Harki will wreak havoc at the mela by releasing a snake and causing a stampede, during which Kasturi will get lost in the crowd and Nimboli will help Chakor to find her mother.
Further, Anandi will be seen aiding Chakor in restoring Kasturi’s lost memory suggesting Chakor to recreate the scenario which led to the memory loss. Taking a cue from this, Chakor will be seen approaching a cliff, but a twist of fate will show Nimboli fall off the cliff. Shocked at seeing her beloved daughter take the fall, Anandi will be seen running helter-skelter to save her daughter. Stepping in as a messiah, Chakor will save Nimboli's life. Once the latter regains consciousness, Chakor will share insights with Nimboli that every mother loves her child, and if Anandi deserted her as a child, there must have been a strong reason behind it.
As the mothers and daughters fight the odds, will the divinity of Chhath Puja foil all evil plans? Will bhaiyaji's plan of replacing Chakor with Chunni succeed? And will Nimboli bury the hatchet and give Anandi a chance?
The festivities will air on COLORS on 16th and 17th November, 2015 at 8:00 PM.
