Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: Ranaji throws Sulakshna out of his room; embraces Gayatri!
In the latest episode, Gayatri accepts Sulakshna’s command to dance at her birthday party. Much to Ranaji’s dismay, Gayatri goes about dancing to a heart-wrenching song before every one present. Ranaji feels disgusted at Sulakshna and stops Gayatri from dancing further. He restores her lost dignity by calling her a jogan (pious woman) whose dance was akin to worshipping her love. He even gives back to Sulakshna by addressing Gayatri as “Rani” and leaves the gathering with her.
Sulakshna (aka Jhumki) and Badi Rani Ma feel defeated in their game plan to insult Gayatri.
On the other hand, Raj Mata struggles to get out of the locked cupboard in the store room and calls for help. Her main attendant Yashoda hears her cry and breaks open the cupboard with a heavy hammer. Raj Mata enquires about what all occurred at the party. Yashoda tells her in a sad tone that everything got over.
At Gayatri’s chamber, Ranaji consoles her and asks her to have faith in his love. Just then, jealousy-torn Sulakshna walks in and begins chiding Gayatri for manipulating Ranaji and at the same time pretending to be a sacrificial lamb. Gayatri finally breaks her silence and stands up to defend herself against the wrathful attacks from Sulakshna. When Sulakshna tells Gayatri for not fulfilling her wishes despite pledging to do so, the latter says that it is the fault of her desires that they could not find fulfilment.
Later, Gayatri dolls up Sulakshna for the special night she wishes to spend with Ranaji. Sulakshna makes Gayatri jealous by asking her to send her breakfast next morning a little late as she has no plans to sleep tonight. Gayatri gets hurt and walks out of the room with a broken heart. She realises that at last Ranaji has chosen Sulakshna over her.
When Ranaji walks in, Sulakshna throws herself at his feet like a lose woman. However, much to Sulakshna’s shock, Ranaji refuses to touch her and does not feel any affection for her. When she refuses to let him go, he is left with no other choice but to drag her out of the room. Gayatri sees this scene and gets surprised to find Ranaji walking towards her. He approaches her desperately and takes her in his embrace lovingly.
The duo has a happy reunion, while Sulakshna, who is a con girl named Jhumki in reality, burns witnessing the scene from a corner.
