Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: Will Ranaji fulfil Sulakshna’s indecent request?
In the recent episode, the girl Jhumki, who is impersonating Ranaji’s first wife Sulakshna (Jayna Tida) these day at the secret behest of Badi Rani Ma, told Ranaji that she shall free his second wife Gayatri from her service only if he fulfils her condition.
She asks Ranaji to return the rights of his wife to her i.e. sleep with her for one night and in exchange she will relieve Gayatri from the position of her maidservant. Ranaji gets disgusted and walks away without saying a word, while Gayatri, who overhears the conversation, burns with the thought of Ranaji spending a night with Sulakshna.
Ranaji pursues Gayatri and offers explanation to console her grieving heart. However, Gayatri tells him to choose between her and Sulakshna tonight itself as she can’t wait anymore. By saying that, Gayatri means that she will leave the palace for good if Ranaji chooses to be with Sulakshna.
Later, while dolling up Sulakshna for her birthday bash, Gayatri notices that the jewellery worn by the latter does not hurt her forehead despite being prickly at the base. Gayatri also notices Sulakshna using pedestrian language.
On the other hand, Raj Mata searches for something in the store room and resolves to deal with Sulakshna so that she does not insult or harm Gayatri at the party. However, her plans go kaput as Badi Rani Ma quietly locks her up in the cupboard and tells Ranaji that Raj Mata does not wish to celebrate Sulakshna’s birthday.
At the birthday gathering, Sulakshna gets too excited to see the birthday cake and ends up calling “o teri!”. Ranaji instantly gets suspicious of Sulakshna’s behaviour which is not-so-her and questions her about it. She gives some lame excuse and diverts the attention by asking Gayatri to take a bite of the birthday cake from her hands. However, Gayatri being a vegetarian refuses to eat the cake. Sulakshna taunts Gayatri saying that she won’t be able to learn the traditions of the palace if she can’t even eat eggs. Gayatri gives a befitting reply to Sulakshna by asking for sugar to be brought for her. She asks Sulakshna to feed her a tablespoon of sugar if she really wants to sweeten her mouth.
Sulakshna feels defeated, while Ranaji looks on proud at Gayatri’s tactful way of dealing with the insult. Sulakshna refuses to accept defeat and asks for a birthday gift from Gayatri.
Gayatri says that there is nothing left for her to give to Sulakshna as she has already given away her husband to the latter. Sulakshna, however, asks Gayatri to obey her and dance to entertain her and everyone in the party.
Ranaji and Gayatri look on shocked at this request.
Will Gayatri dance at the party? If she does, Ranaji will be hurt to see her being misused in such a way by Sulakshna. And he may agree to spend the night with Sulakshna to free Gayatri from the bond. But, will he really sleep with her oblivious to the fact that the woman posing to be Sulakshna is actually a con girl?
