Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: The veiled woman is none other than Badi Rani; Princess Swarna forced to produce royal heir with another man!
It is not a mystery anymore who that veiled woman stealthily watching Gayatri (Drashti Dhami) and Ranaji’s (Siddhant Karnick) moves in reality is. Our guess was right, readers, as the veiled villain is Ranaji’s step-grandmother Badi Rani Ma (Surekha Sikri).
This revelation came in the recent episode when we saw this woman worshipping Goddess Kali in a secret place. Surprisingly, Chandra Indravadan Singh Deo and Kokila along with the new village girl who is posing as Rani Sulakshna join the woman in her worship. Soon after, the woman turns around to welcome them all and lifts her veil for the first time. It is revealed that the woman is Badi Rani Ma who is the step-grandmother of Ranaji and real grandmother of his cousin Lakshya Raj.
This makes it clear Ranaji’s uncle Chandra Indravadan Singh Deo, aunt Kokila, cousin Lakshya Raj and Badi Rani Ma have been hands-in-glove in all the conspiracies devised against Ranaji and Gayatri to separate them for claiming their rights on the throne of Amerkot.
As for the recent developments in the show, Badi Rani quietly sneaks into Ranaji’s chamer to slash the wrist of fake Sulakshna while Ranaji is busy telling her that Gayatri is his second wife and he loves her too. Ranaji turns around to see Sulakshna unconscious on the bed and her wrist oozing blood. Badi Rani Ma later visits his room to say that Sulakshna could not bear the fact that he remarried and thus slashes her wrist. This plan works in Badi Rani’s favour as Ranaji gets more worried for Sulakshna.
Later, Badi Rani Ma tells Gayatri that Sulakshna hurt herself when she learnt about her marriage with Ranaji. To solve the prevailing issues once and for all, Gayatri starts leaving for her father’s home so that Ranaji can start life afresh with his first wife Sulakshna.
However, Ranaji stops Gayatri from leaving him in the nick of time and manages to convince her to stay with him as he needs her.
Somewhere in a village, Princess Swarnalekha, the wife of Lakshya Raj, reaches the hut of the village Casanova named Lakhan (Puneet Sharma) whom help she sought while running away from her gay and evil husband. The Casanova wins Swarna’s trust and succeeds in bringing her to his hut. There Swarna gets shocked to find her in-laws dropping in and she understands how the Lakhan cheated on her by behaving to be so nice and helpful. She regrets trusting him and begs her in-laws to free her. Kokila and Chandra reiterate that they need a heir from her. Swarnalekha, in a broken voice, reasons that she can’t produce heir as their son is neither interested in her nor incapable of fathering heir. They ask her to sleep with Lakhan and give birth to the heir with him. Hearing this, Swarna breaks down and begins crying inconsolably at her fate.
So as we can see, on one hand, Kokila, Chandra and Badi Rani are trying to produce their own heir by making Swarna sleep with another man. And, on the other hand, they are blocking all ways for Gayatri and Ranaji’s reunion by bringing a fake Sulakshna in their life.
