"Doesn't make any difference" - Adaa Khan on sharing screen space with Mouni Roy in Naagin
Adaa Khan is on a roll these days as she is making her presence felt in the newly-launched Naagin, as well as Comedy Nights Bachao on COLORS.
Excited to play a snake-woman in Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin, Adaa is taking care to look perfect on-screen. “My character’s name is Shesha and she is out to take revenge. I’ve been given a beautiful black Naagin costume and the makeup and hair is exactly how I wanted it to be. I put my ideas together for the look and Ekta (Kapoor) ma’am accepted them.”
With Mouni Roy also in the show, isn’t she worried about being overshadowed? “The fact that there are two actresses in the same show has never made any difference to me. And besides, her character is positive, while I portray a negative character in the show,” states Adaa.
Being new to comedy, Adaa has been the butt of many jokes from co-comedians on Comedy Nights Bachao. Telling us about the experience, she says, “Comedy Nights Bachao is a lot of fun. I get to portray another side of my personality through the show and the jokes are not meant to be taken seriously. I’ve been attending technical rehearsals and I am getting comfortable with the genre.”
Addressing rumours that she would enter Bigg Boss, Adaa says, “I don’t know why these rumours were doing the rounds. I found it funny because I’m already doing two shows, so how will I go in the house?
Ask her if she is still seeing her philandering celeb boyfriend Ankit and she says,“I don’t want to comment on that, I’ve always been quiet about my personal life.”
