Kumkum Bhagya: Pragya observes Karva Chauth fast for Abhi without letting him know!
In the recent episode, we saw Pragya asking for a day’s leave from Dadi so that she could be her real self and observe Karva Chauth fast for Abhi’s longevity.
She gets up in the week hours of the morning to eat Sargi. Abhi, too, wakes up accidentally and finds Pragya missing in the room. He goes about searching her everywhere and gets surprised to find her eating in the kitchen. He jokes her if she was up to some nasty trick to exact revenge from her “enemies” in the house. Pragya rubbishes Abhi’s doubts and says that she was hungry, hence, was feeding herself.
On the other hand, Bulbul, too, observes fast for fiancé Purab and refuses to eat at her mom’s home. Sarla intuits that Pragya must have observed the fast and resolves to visit the Mehra house to check if she her intuition is right.
Later, Pragya dresses up in a beautiful red saree for the festival. Abhi gets mighty impressed with her looks and wonders if she has been observing the fast for him. Pragya denies keeping fast and walks away.
Again, Tanu confronts Pragya and questions her if she has been fasting for Abhi. To keep her secret from coming out, Pragya rubbishes Tanu’s allegations and threatens that if she observes the fast, her prayers might get heard by God and that would ruin Tanu’s chances of getting married to Abhi.
Abhi, however, resolves to put Pragya to a test to check if she has been fasting or not. He shares his plan with everyone including Dadi, Purab and Bulbul. He thinks of offering chocolate to Pragya and if she refuses to eat it, it will be proved that she is on a fast.
