Pratyusha Banerjee’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh opens about “non-payment” of restaurant bills
A few days back, the news about TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee getting slapped with charges of fraud by the owner of the Addiction lounge in Mumbai broke like wildfire on the web. Prats had hosted her birthday party in the lounge in August. However, things went awry when the cheque given by the actress to the management of the restaurant bounced! As a result, the owner approached the Versova Police and filed a case against Pratyusha.
To clear the air, Pratyusha’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, opened up recently and explained the issue during a conversation with an entertainment website. He said, “During the post-party settlement, the hotel authorities made a bill of beverages like cocktails and Red Bulls served by them at the party, which was not part of the pre-decided menu list made by us. I told the hotel authorities that we have to sit and discuss the exact amount. On hearing this, they asked me to give them a cheque, and assured that they will not present the cheque, and they can get back and settle the amount. But post this incident, we both have been unavailable. Nevertheless, the point to be noted here is that we have already made a payment of nearly 85% of the sum total.”
Pratyusha and Rahul are holidaying in Goa and might settle the matter once they return.
