‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ POLL: Lalima or Sandhya – Who should Suraj choose to live with?
Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela), or let’s say, life itself has placed Suraj (Anas Rashid) and Sandhya (Deepika Singh) in such a dicey situation that there seems no escape, no cure for the current malady.
After a shedding enough blood and battling the negative forces in Mission Mahabali, Suraj and Sandhya returned home to Pushkar only to confront with a tougher situation. The problem arose when Bhabho brought in Lalima (Shefali Sharma) and introduced her as Suraj’s wife!
We all know that Lalima fell in love with Suraj and did whatever she could to bring back Suraj to normalcy. She risked her life to make Suraj accept Sandhya’s death and get him cured so that he gets saved from being sent to the mental asylum. In the recent telecast, we saw Lalima and her bother recalling the episode when Lalima was quietly praying at a temple and some women arrived to take digs at her for living with a man without being formal married to him. To save her from societal backlash, Suraj, naively put the sindoor in her hair claiming her as his own, and thus, restored her dignity. Suraj, however, forgot this incident after he got cured from his illness. However, Bhabho now wants to kick out Sandhya from Suraj’s life because she left him to fulfil his official duty, whilst Lalima sacrificed her all to salvage Suraj!
Although, Bhabho is not being vocal about her intentions, she has left it to Suraj to decide within a day who he will choose to live with – Sandhya or Lalima!
Indeed, Suraj has never been in such a situation before and it will be interesting to watch how he comes out of this dilemma. But if ask you to choose of the two women, who will you vote for?
