Diya Aur Baati Hum: Bhabho puts Sandhya to test; Suraj to choose between Sandhya and Lalima!
There is nothing like coming home to your loved ones after being grilled mentally and physically with the worst tests for 8 months. Officer Sandhya Rathi (Deepika Singh) had to sacrifice her comforts and family life to carry out Mission Mahabali for wiping off the deadly naxal group Garjana Sangathan. She had imagined a happy reunion with family, but that was not meant to be.
In the latest episode, we saw Sandhya getting successful in her secret mission with the aid of her beloved husband Suraj (Anas Rashid). Sandhya’s boss Officer Bharat (Jiten Lalwani) gets happy with Sandhya for doing the job so well. He thanks Suraj for playing the role of a responsible citizen by aiding Sandhya in her arduous task. As a gesture of gratitude, he makes them get married once again before the couple could go back home to Pushkar.
On the other hand, at the Rathi house, Bhabho gets all the preparations done to welcome her bahu. The Rathis get shocked to watch news channels running clips of Sandhya being alive and how she went into coma after the train blast 8 months back.
Suraj and Sandhya finally reach home dressed as bride and groom. Meenakshi gets ready to welcome the duos at the doorstep. However, before she could do so, Lokesh arrives with his sister Lalima (Shefali Sharma), thereby, shocking Suraj and Sandhya. Lokesh breaks his silence by introducing Sandhya to Lalima as Suraj’s wife and the senior bahu of the Rathi family.
Sandhya and Suraj look on shocked, as do other members of the Rathi house excluding Bhabho. Suraj denies marrying Lalima in Sandhya’s absence and wonders what’s happening. Sandhya shows full faith in Suraj and gets equally worried about the turn of events.
Finally, Bhabho speaks up and says that soon everyone will come to know of Sandhya and Lalima who will enter the house as Suraj’s bride.
Now, to give you a sneak-peak of the upcoming developments, Bhabho will give Suraj a tough time in the next episode. Bhabho will ask him to choose between Lalima, who put her life to stake to cure his mental disorder, and Sandhya, with whom she is majorly miffed for leaving behind her family to fulfil official duties.
Whom will Suraj choose? What will Sandhya do to win over Bhabho and regain her right as the bahu of Rathi clan?
