Alok Nath gets back to do what he does best!
Veteran television and film actor was missing from the tube for a long time. His last show was ‘Mere Rang Mein Rangnawali’ in 2014 in which he played the part of Dadaji.
And if the recent reports are anything to go by, Alok Nath will be once again seen essaying the part of Babuji to Umang Jain aka Tara in Rajan Shahi’s ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.
Umang as Tara has made entry into the series as Naksh’s (Rohan Mehra) love interest and the duos may get married in future.
However, Alok’s entry in YRKKH will be significant and a turning point in the story. Interestingly, Alok Nath’ sister Vineeta Malik has been playing the female protagonist Akshara’s (Hina Khan) grandmother since the very beginning. Now, whether or not Alok will get a chance to share screen space with his sibling, only time will tell. The episode featuring Alok Nath will go on air later this week or by next week.
