Kumkum Bhagya: The case of mistaken kiss which became a laughing stock!
In the latest episode, we saw Nikhil dropping in at the Mehra house all of a sudden. He does so to introduce an adman to Pragya and Abhi for some official work. Nikhil tries getting closer to Tanu, who is carrying his baby in her womb, but Tanu, as usual, feels repulsive to have Nikhil around.
When the adman proposes Tanu’s name for the ad film he wishes to do with Abhi and Pragya’s company, Nikhil puts his foot down on the idea by strictly saying that Tanu won’t do the ad. He immediately changes his tone and elaborates that since Tanu is pregnant, she is not fit enough to take so much work on her shoulders. Abhi agrees with Nikhil and asks Tanu to relax. Tanu gets disheartened and frustrated to lose the project but does not protest.
Later, Pragya and Abhi have a funny moment in their bedroom when Abhi puts dumb bells near the door to make Pragya trip. Pragya gets alert seeing the dumb bells and realises that it was Abhi’s idea to teach her a lesson. Instead of Pragya, Abhi ends up tripping due to the dumb bells. However, Pragya rushes to save him from a fall; but somehow her lips end up touching Abhi’s right cheek in the bid and leave a lipstick mark. Interestingly, neither Abhi nor Pragya notice the lipstick mark on his cheek.
Meanwhile, Pragya holds a meeting with members of the family to assign roles for the Ram-Lila play for Dusherra celebrations. Mitali thinks of doing Sita’s role, but chucks the idea. She expresses wish to play Lakshman’s wife Urmila who enjoyed pleasures of the palace all her life. Taiji wishes to play Ram’s mother Kaushalya, but get sad when Pragya assigns her the role of Kaikeyi. Dadi agrees to play the narrator, while Tauji is asked to play King Dashrath. Abhi joins the family and assigns the role of Raavan to Pragya!
However, he himself becomes a butt of jokes as everyone present notices the lipstick mark on his cheek. Everyone assume the lipstick mark to be the result of a romantic moment between Abhi and Pragya and begin pulling Abhi’s leg. While, Ronnie and Payal sing songs to tease Abhi, Tanu blasts him for cheating on her. Abhi thinks Tanu is behaving irritably due to her lingering health issues and decides to give her more space. As he moves on to say “hello” to other family members, the whole house notices the kiss mark and begins pulling Abhi’s leg. Purab and Bulbul arrive and get surprised to see the mark on Abhi’s face. Purab jokes with Abhi and clicks a picture from his phone to show the mark to him. Abhi gets surprised as he realises how he became the laughing stock of the day!
