WATCH: The spooky ‘Naagin’ promo starring Arjun Bijlani and Mouni Roy!
The Naagin is back, readers! And, we thank the stars that she is not like what we saw in the Bollywood films of the bygone eras.
Say what you will about the concept of revenge dramas focusing on snake-woman seeking revenge from her human perpetrators, Ekta Kapoor’s version of naagin seems intriguing. Starring Arjun Bijlani and Mouni Roy, ‘Naagin’ is based on the theme of "kaal sarpa dosha" which happens to be a serious defect in one’s birth chart. When one or many members of a family kill serpents, they incur a sin which is carried forward till many generations. In the show ‘Naagin’, the protagonist (Arjun Bijlani) is a man belonging to a well-off clan. However, a jilted naagin (Mouni Roy) arrives in his life to settle past scores.
