Rashmi Sharma’s ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ has been in the news in recent times for the off-screen rivalries between the co-actors. Last, we heard about Loveleen Kaur Sasan (Paridhi) at loggerheads with Devoleena (Gopi), Vishal Singh (Jigar) and Mohammad Nazim (Ahem). And now, buzz has it that things are not so cool between on-screen rivals Rupal Patel (Kokila Modi) and Vandana Pathak (Gaura).

Rupal and Vandana’s characters Kokila and Gaura were thick friends in childhood. However, due to some serious mistake on Kokila’s part, Gaura has returned to settle old scores by making the former’s granddaughter Meera as her weapon.

Now, an entertainment website reports that the problem lies in Vandana’s character getting more screen attention these days and Rupal is not comfortable with this development.

The actresses, on the other hand, tell a different story.

“This is a completely different set and experience. I am used to working with people who connect and rehearse and have fun working with each other. But here, people prefer to keep to themselves and I think it is justified because every one can't be the same,” told Vandana to the website, adding, “Rupal is a professional and we do greet each other everyday. We are just two different people."

Rupal also denied having any issue with Vandana and said that she has always been cordial with her colleagues, but in real life she is an introvert. Hence, she chooses to not engage too much with others in her free time on the set. "I am not playing a negative character in this show; I am playing a strong balanced woman, so there is no question of competition here. I am an introvert and don't talk too much on the sets. It's just not 'me' but that does not mean I don't get along with anyone."
