Shankar Mahadevan, Diljit Dosanjh, Monali Thakur and Ravi Dubey launch Rising Star

The second season of Colors' singing reality show, Rising Star was launched today in the city. The event was attended by judges Shankar Mahadevan, Diljit Dosanjh and Monali Thakur with the host Ravi Dubey.

The second season of Colors' singing reality show, Rising Star will soon go on air. The show is judged by Shankar Mahadevan, Diljit Dosanjh and Monali Thakur. It will be hosted by Ravi Dubey.

Today, a launch event was held in the city which was attended by the leading judges and the host too. Shankar was seen in a purple long kurta and blue jeans. Whereas Diljit looked handsome in a white shirt and black suit. While Monali looked pretty wearing a black bodysuit with satin pantsuit which has floral prints all over it.

Talking about Ravi, he sported a handsome look wearing a black vest with black cargo pants and a camouflage jacket. He completed his look by donning nerdy spectacles and white sneakers. Ravi was seen playing with a small kid at the launch event.

They were all smiles posing for the shutterbugs present there.

Meanwhile, Diljit is all set to be seen opposite Kriti Sanon in the film titled Arjun Patiala. According to a leading daily, the movie being produced by Dinesh Vijan is a slice-of-life comedy about the height difference between a couple. The fact that the woman is taller than the man in the relationship will for the crux of the movie with the element of humour in it.

While Kriti's character is a journalist, Diljit plays a small-town guy from Punjab. The story revolves around their love story. This is the first outing of Diljit and Kriti together.
