Television actress Shweta Tiwari rose to fame with Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The show, which aired on Star Plus during the early 2000s was one of the longest running shows on television. She played the role of Prerna in the serial and her chemistry with Cezanne Khan, who played Anurag, was mesmerising. Actors Ronit Roy and Urvashi Dholakia also played vital roles in the show. It has been a decade that KZK went off air, but Shweta Tiwari is still etched in the audience's mind as Prerna.
On the personal front, after getting divorced with Raja Chaudhary, Shweta Tiwari married Abhinav Kohli in 2013. Raja and her daughter Palak lives with the actress. In 2016, Shweta Tiwari and Abhinav Kohli welcomed their first child, a boy. The couple named him Reyansh. As Shweta Tiwari has now entered the world of theatre, her play Jab We Separated premiered last night. The Parvarish actress took her munchkin Reyansh along with her and posed for the shutterbugs. While Reyansh comfortably cuddled up in his mum's arm, the actress was all smiles for the cameras.

Meanwhile, there have been reports that things have hit the rock bottom between Shweta and Abhinav as the latter doesn't stay with the actress and the children. A few months ago, Shweta Tiwari denied the rumours of any tension in their marriage. However, the rumours never stopped.
Recently, while talking to Times of India, the actress said that after Abhinav lost his dad, from last year and he stays with his mom in Bengaluru as she is alone and both of them need some time to move on from the loss. She also said that whenever it is possible for him, Abhinav makes sure he comes to Mumbai and spends time with his family
