Today, Kapil Dev turns 60 today and Nakuul being a huge fan of him took to his Instagram story to share a sweet birthday wish for his icon. The actor shared a selfie with Kapil Dev and wished him by writing, "Happy birthday to my all time favourite cricketing Hero." Nakuul also mentioned, "When Kapil Paaji volunteeres to do the selife. Aise hi nahi unhe India's greatest ALL ROUNDER kehte ;-)".

Last year, Nakuul Mehta met Kapil Dev on a flight and clicked a picture. He wrote a long and beautiful caption for the cricketer.
Some of the excerpt from his caption reads, "His first words to me were, 'Ghode beech ke neend ayee'? How do you react to waking up in the middle of your flight after nights of very little sleep to this legend seated right next to you?
We spoke about the '83 World cup, his 175 not out against Zimbabwe, his 432nd world record wicket, his favourite bowlers, the constant travel & hotels, the impending biopic with Ranveer essaying his part and the famous Palmolive campaign. In between this chatter, distinctly recall him reminiscing, 'Kaise waqt beet jaata hai...'".
