The talented actor rose to fame with the show Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan (2006) where he played the role of young Prithviraj Chauhan. Since then, he became everyone's favourite and his performance won him several awards and lots of appreciation. Rajat then played the lead in Dharam Veer where he was again loved for his performance.
In 2013, with his performance as Jalaluddin Mohammed Akbar in the TV show Jodha Akbar, Rajat Tokas again proved his acting talent. In 2016, he experimented with his choice of roles and played the character of an Icchadhari Nevla (mongoose) in the supernatural show Naagin. Currently, he plays a very vital character of Vikraant, an icchadhari naag (snake) in Naagin 3. The audience is loving his performance and the show is top on TRP charts.
However, recently, the actor did a live chat on his Instagram page with his fans. One of his fans asked him which character he would love to play and Rajat Tokas gave a very interesting answer. Rajat said that he would love to play the role of Jake Peralta from the show Brooklyn Nine Nine.
Jake Peralta is an NYPD detective and the character is played by Andy Samberg. He is one of the most favourites and is a loved fictional character.
