Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Parth Samthaan shows his director side on the sets
Parth Samthaan plays the role of Anurag in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Erica Fernandes essays Prerna's role in the show.
When Ekta Kapoor announced last year that she is coming back with Kasautii Zindagii Kay with a brand new cast, the audience couldn't keep calm. During the 2000s, Ekta's Kasautii Zindagii Kay starring Shweta Tiwari as Prerna and Cezanne Khan as Anurag glued every Indian household to the television screens. The characters Prerna and Anurag played by Shweta and Cezzane are still etched in the minds of the audiences.
The reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay stars Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes as the lead roles. The show started airing in September last year and it is one of the top shows on Indian TV. The audience is in love with Erica and Parth's portrayal of Prerna and Anurag on the show. Parth and Erica share a friendly equation off-screen. The two often engage in fun activities on the sets. Recently, Parth Samthaan pranked the star cast as he sat on the director's chair and instructed the actors to do scenes.

The role of Komolika in the new Kasautii is being played by Hina Khan. This is the first time Hina is essaying a negative role. Her character has already started creating mess in the lives of Anurag and Prerna.
