It was a Happy Birthday indeed!! #birthday #vibes #friendslikefamily

In an exclusive interaction with us, we asked him about the preparations he has done for this birthday and is he planning anything special this time. On this, he said, "The preparations primarily start from my fans and I am not saying because I am giving an interview. But, the realization that my birthday is coming because the fans start the countdown a month back. I am usually the least prepared about it. I leave it to the last minute. It's always been with friends and family and it's been the same for many years now. The zone that I am in is pragmatic - looking for happiness and I want to be happy this year. That's my motto this birthday."

"It's pretty ironic as I started my first shoot schedule on 9th May which was 9 years back - 9th May I finish 9 years in Television and 11th is my birthday. It actually feels like yesterday that I stared working and I am still trying to keep my feet grounded and the acceptance level has been great. I feel fortunate to have my hobby as a profession. It's a blessing," added the actor.

Well, for any actor who doesn't have any filmy roots, it's difficult to get the first job. For Karan too, it wasn't a cakewalk either. "It's definitely not easy to get in. Let me tell you one thing it's difficult to sustain. This industry is pretty challenging and if you enter into it, you got to be prepared. You have to be very dedicated and sincere as this industry demands a lot. It's definitely difficult to crack your first job because your first job in the industry really sets the bar for the rest of your career. So it is very hard," said Karan.
