Nakuul Mehta became a household name after playing the role of Shivaay Singh Oberoi on Star Plus' Ishqbaaaz alongside Surbhi Chandna. He enjoys a massive fan following. Yesterday, everyone welcomed New Year - some celebs went for vacations and some partied all night long. Nakuul opted for a rather peaceful beginning. He was in Rishikesh and took to Insta stories to share his pictures. He is seen soaking in sun or Vitamin D. He is chilling all by himself and tranquillity is what he was looking for.
Talking of his show, Ishqbaaaz is coming up with a new twist. It’s a new love story with Shivaay's son Shivaansh (to be played by Nakuul Mehta) and a new girl Manjiri Pupala in centre. Nakuul gave an emotional farewell to his character. He tweeted, “Dear Shivaay, I have lived you along with the rest of the country for the past 900 days. Another couple weeks to celebrate this most special journey. Tried to find words to express what it meant to be consumed by you.”

Recently, Nakuul Mehta won the Best Actor award at TIFFA and expressed his gratitude on winning the same. Sharing pictures with his award, Nakuul wrote, "This has been a stellar year. So grateful to continue to have this opportunity to serve the Indian Television Industry and learn & evolve along the way. #TIIFAforBestActorTelevision2018 last evening is my homage to all of 'YOU'.
