Kundali Bhagya is a spin-off show of Kumkum Bhagya and has been ruling the TRP charts since the first week of it going on air.
The show recently completed 1000th episode and producer Ekta Kapoor had arranged for a huge celebration to enjoy this sweet success. The grand party was thrown not only for the show's success but also for Ekta's Balaji Telefilms' contribution to the entertainment industry over the years.
Kumkum Bhagya is a love story about Pragya (Sriti Jha) and Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) who is a famous rock star. The story takes a lot of twists and turns, however, their chemistry in the show is mesmerising and beautiful. Even if Tanu (Leena Jumani) and Abhi's sister Aliya (Shikha Singh) try creating differences between the two, they have never succeeded in separating the lovebirds in the show.
In its successful run, Kumkum Bhagya has won a lot of television awards such as the 10th Star Guild Awards for the Best Upcoming Drama Series, 10th Boroplus Gold Awards for Best TV Show of the Year and Zee Rishtey Awards for Favourite Dharavahik.
