The actor not just proved her mettle as an actor but also won several hearts by playing the headstrong character of Sonakshi Bose in KRPKAB. 

Before taking up acting, Erica was a model and has participated in several beauty pageants including Femina Miss India in 2011. She has appeared in a number of South Indian language films including Tamil, Telugu and Kannada before rising to fame with her TV show. The actor is extremely active on social media and also has her own YouTube channel. The actor is currently in talks with Ekta Kapoor for a show which is said to be based on Karan Johar's hit film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Earlier, there were reports Ekta has roped in Erica for the sequel to her show Kasautii Zindagi Kay but Erica had denied the news.
