What started as an unimaginable love story between North and South, we mean North Indian Raman (Karan Patel) and South Indian Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi), has now completed 5 years with the two not just falling in love but also facing series of difficulties together. The show also stars Anita Hassanandani, Krishna Mukherjee, Aditi Bhatia among others in pivotal roles. Celebrating 5 years of the telecast, the team today couldn’t contain their excitement and even broke into dance and bhangra while interacting with the media. Not just that, as a caring and noble gesture towards the cast and crew and symbolic to allowing the family to grow further, the team gifted a sapling to each member of the crew. Now, that indeed is something to applaud, isn’t it?
The YHM team will soon be hosting a grand party to celebrate this milestone. Despite several changes in the timeslot the show has managed to hold its own and find a place on the TRP chart amidst tough competition. Divyanka and Karan’s pairing as Ishra is loved by fans a lot. The duo also shares a great camaraderie onscreen as well off screen which reflects in their performances. Amidst rumours of the show going off air, the team has been celebrating every small achievement making us wonder if this is again a hoax like many other times.
Meanwhile, Divyanka in her statement said that she is very much happy about the journey they have had and it just feels like yesterday. She said, “I am thankful to the audience that they have loved us so much. They have spoilt us with their kindness and loyalty towards our show. We would still request them to keep watching the show because it will be always full of surprises.”
