Recently, during an interaction with a leading daily, Divyanka was asked about the first time Vivek confessed his feeling to her, to which the pretty actor stated, "Ours was more like an arranged match, so initially, we were just trying to know and understand each other. Soon, we realised that our thoughts matched and we were quite compatible. However, neither of us expressed our feelings for each other. Then one day, we went on an outdoor shoot for Ye Hai Mohabbatein. While I was getting ready to shoot, he surprised me with a gift. When I unwrapped it, I saw that it was a beautiful poem that he had written and translated into Hindi. He had framed it beautifully."
When asked if she is interested in films, Divyanka told a leading daily, ''I've been offered films, but they usually came my way when I was already working on television. When a show is doing well, I'd rather not make an impulsive decision to leave it, even for a film. TV has given me more than I ever asked for, and I'm grateful. Any film I do has to be worth a risk.''
When asked with whom she'd like to work in films, Divyanka said that she'd love to romance Akshay Kumar. ''If I get a breakthrough, I wouldn't want to do glamorous roles only. I'd want challenging roles. And why not, when I've killed a crocodile on my show (laughs)? The role needs to excite me, make me nervous. Only then would it be worth it. I see myself as Akshay Kumar's heroine one day. I've loved all his films and he compliments every actress he's worked with,'' Divyanka said.
