Dipika Kakar fulfils her dream of being Mrs Shoaib Ibrahim in this romantic photo
Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim tied the knot on February 22, 2018, amongst family members and close friends. Dipika took to Instagram to share a picture of the newlyweds with a sweet caption.
We can all agree that Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are a match made in heaven. The couple first met on the sets of their show Sasural Simar Ka and consequently, love blossomed between the two offscreen and they have been together for five years.
Yesterday, Dipika and Shoaib tied the knot in front of their family and friends in Maudaha, a town near Lucknow. It was at the same venue where Shoaib's parents had gotten married and that made it extra special for the newlyweds.
Dipika looked absolutely stunning at her nikah as she donned a pink sharara that had gota pati work on it and she paired it with an emerald Kundan necklace, a mang tikka, a chapka and a nose ring. She wore her hair in waves and fresh face of makeup with pink lips. Shoaib complimented her in a cream and golden sherwani. He was also seen riding a horse on his way to the wedding.
Dipika took to Instagram to share a romantic photo of the couple after getting married in their wedding attires and it screams of the perfect fairytale. However, it is her caption that will truly melt your heart.
Her caption reads as, "I can see the reflection of Mrs Dipika Shoaib Ibrahim in his eyes.. and its all I ever dreamt off!!! P.S. @shoaib2087 I love you!!! #dodilmilrahehain."
Meanwhile, a source close to the couple informed a leading daily that Dipika and Shoaib wanted a lavish wedding later this year but their families wanted to advance the wedding.
“Dipika and Shoaib were originally planning a lavish wedding sometime later this year in Jaipur. However, their families wanted to advance the plan and a date was finalised upon just 20 days ago. The families also decided to solemnise the nikah in the same house where Shoaib’s parents got married decades ago. Shoaib is returning to his hometown after almost 10 years and his relatives are excited to have him and Dipika with them," the source said.
Shoaib had proposed Dipika during their stint on the dance reality show Nach Baliye.
