The couple will exchange their wedding vows at Shoaib's native village in UP. The couple met on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka and have been in a relationship for a long time before getting engaged on the sets of Nach Baliye 8, last year. After tying the knot on Thursday, the couple will throw a grand reception in Mumbai on February 26, where they will invite their friends from the industry.

During an interaction with a leading daily, when Dipika was asked about the wedding date, she earlier stated, "You will get to hear about it very soon."

Both are of different religions, but that was never an issue for Dipika and Shoaib. Talking about it, the stunning actress said, "It was never an issue between us as we have our priorities sorted. We are mature people and understand each other well. Be it work or personal life, we take all decisions together as that’s how our relationship has been formed."

She further spoke about their relationship saying, "Whenever I talk about relationships, people say you are too gyaani (laughs). But I think a relationship is built by a lot of things put together and not just on one aspect. There has to be respect, transparency, loyalty, trust and a lot of love. Also, with Shoaib and me, we have still retained our friendship and that has helped us a lot. Even now, we indulge in our pillow fights and he smacks me in front of people. It’s the best way as to become lifelong partners, you have to first be each other’s best friends."
