Anita and Rohit got hitched on October 14, 2013, and it was a lavish destination wedding, keeping in mind all the Telugu traditional rituals. Rohit and Anita used to go to the same gym. Recalling their first meeting, Rohit, in an interview, said, "One day I saw her outside a pub, waiting for her car and decided to approach her. I went like a hero and approached her with the corniest lines, she was startled. That was a brief encounter."
Anita also shared her feeling for Rohit in an interview. She said, "Even today, he makes it a point to thank me, whenever I do anything for him, that’s very lovable. I think that generally, a woman brings in luck for her husband after marriage but in my case, my husband is lucky for me."
A few months ago, there were rumours that Anita and Rohit were to become parents. The rumours were cleared when the actress posted a picture on her Instagram. She had mentioned, "So I’ve received a call from every publication from every channel today asking me ke “good news hai kya” … “Yessss the good news is that I’m not on a diet … I’m on pizzaaaaa chocolatessss ice creamssss winessss. Am glowing cos I’m in love with my husbandddddddd. And I promise to let you all know proudly when I am expecting! Cheers."
