Ekta Kapoor celebrated her birthday with close ones and was all smiles.
Ekta Kapoor turned a year older yesterday and celebrated with her close friends and family.
She was spotted at a dinner party and was chirpy as she posed for the paparazzi. Ekta looked cute as a button in a Peter Pan collar stripe shift dress. black stockings and black booties. She was joined by her family - dad Jeetendra, mom Shobha Kapoor and brother Tusshar Kapoor. Also joining the festivities is actress Mona Singh who is a close friend of Ekta.
Jeetendra and Shobha walked hand in hand to the venue and even posed for the paparazzi. The veteran actor donned an all black ensemble whereas Shobha wore a light green salwar kameez
Tusshar kept it casual cool in a red plaid shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. Mona looked pretty in a black off-shoulder maxi dress. Singh was seen posing with Ekta and they were all smiles for the paparazzi.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, when we asked Ekta about any new projects that she is working on, she said, "I have some interesting stuff on board. I am hoping to launch some mini soaps online which will get over in 20 episodes. They are dramas. You will have your favorite TV actors roped in and for which you won't need to watch like some 200 episodes. I am about to launch Test case which is also a big show for me. It is the first woman commando show. It's a hypothetical scenario where we have the first ever woman into the combat services and have taken Nimrat as the first Testcase. This will surely led out a message of how patriotism is not only a male lookout. It's about both men and women to look after their country and that the integrity of the country has got nothing to do with the gender. It somewhere will help in fading away the notion that we need men to protect us. You know in Israel, it's an equal duty of both men and women to take care of the nation."
