The couple got married on May 3, 2015 and since then have been inseparable and the couple is still very much in love.
Ankita recently shared a throwback picture of herself from her memorable wedding day. The actress looks gorgeous as ever in her wedding attire as she poses candidly. But it is the message for her hubby Karan that is the icing on the cake.

Recently, Ankita was a victim of social media hate as many commented on the fact that Ankita is comparatively dark-skinned in comparison to Karan. To this, Ankita replied, "I am not shallow enough to have a complex about my complexion. I am fairer and darker, both at the same time than most of my friends and colleagues from the industry. As for Karan being fairer, how does that matter? We are not ruled by the British anymore, we are brown, that's what we are. Being not so fair by your standards does not make me a lesser person. I am still a decent wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend in my opinion and I am trying to get better with each passing day, learning and growing."
