She played the titular role in Ekta Kapoor's superfictional show Naagin, where she essayed the role of an icchadhaari Naagin Shivaanya. Mouni was paired opposite to Arjun Bijlani. She is great buddies with Sanjeeda Sheikh and loves to hang out with her.

The actress is an extremely graceful dancer and loves to dance whenever in her free time.

Mouni is fondly known as Maanya or Mon by her friends. The actress loves travelling which also is her favourite hobby. She loves globetrotting to places like London and Paris. Mouni considers her father to be extremely close and as her idol.

The gorgeous lady made her Bollywood debut as an extra in the movie Run which starred Abhishek Bachchan, a few years ago.Apparently she was the only television actress to perform at the IIFA 2016.

Apparently, Mouni had quit pursuing her graduation mid way. After Class 12, she went to Delhi for her graduation from Miranda house in English literature. Since her parents wanted her to be a journalist, she took up mass communication at Jamia Milia Islamia but left the course midway and came to Mumbai to try her luck in films and after that there was no looking back.
