Ravi Dubey and team Jamai Raja wrap up their last episode in style
Ravi Dubey threw a farewell wrap-up party for the cast and crew of Jamai Raja as the last episode airs tonight.
For 3 years, fans have enjoyed watching Zee TV's Jamai Raja that has made a bonafide star out of Ravi Dubey.
The cast and crew wrapped up the shoot of their 701st episode which is also the last one, yesterday. A big party was organised by Ravi himself for the entire team which also included technicians and many more. It's the first time an actor is seen throwing the farewell bash for everyone.
As seen in the pictures, the Jamai Raja squad definitely had a blast during the party and Ravi especially got very emotional as he was a big part of the show.
The farewell started with a small pooja followed by a cake cutting ceremony. Everyone then went on to dance the night away. Producer Meenakshi Sagar acknowledged the team with gifting every cast and crew member a mini replica of the Oscar trophy thanking them for their hard work.
The last episode will air today and will see Satya (Ravi) and Mahi (Shiny Doshi) being blessed with twins. Jamai Raja will be replaced by Sooraj Barjatya's Piya Albela.
When we spoke to Ravi about the successful culmination of the show, this is what he told us. He said, "We have had a very honourable, successful run and I never even imagined that we would complete the milestone of 700 episodes when we began working on the show. I am very proud to be associated with the show. Some spaces have evolutionary energies and whoever associates with it grows. Jamai Raja was one such space. It’s been a game changer in every respect for me and I have improved as an actor doing this show. Jamai Raja has been a clutter breaker and has definitely set the trend of a show that breaks stereotypes for the future. I am really thankful to ZEE TV and my producers for giving me this terrific opportunity to explore myself as a performer. I will truly miss working with the fabulous team of the show."
