Shaheer Sheikh is one of the most good looking actors of the Indian television industry and thanks to his shows, Shaheer can safely be touted as one of the most romantic heroes of the television- from romancing Erica Fernandes in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi and now Rhea Sharma in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, Shaheer knows how to romance his significant other. And although time and again, Shaheer has been linked with his co-stars, however, the truth remains that he is single.

A few days back, Shaheer celebrated his 33^rd birthday and Pinkvilla was informed that the actor will celebrate his birthday in Dubai, and amidst a host of his Insta-worthy pictures, what caught our attention was a picture which has his parents in the frame and alongside the picture, Shaheer’s caption read, “My sunshine  #mummypapa.” Currently, Shaheer Sheikh is playing the role of Abir in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke and it is a known fact that Shaheer's Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke has replaced Nakuul's Ishqbaaaz and Nakuul took to social media to pen an emotional message as he wrote, “Passing the baton on to my friend & one of the brightest stars we have on TV, today @Shaheer_S ! Own the 10 pm slot and make a kickarseshow. Rooting for you & #YehRishteyHainPyaarKe  @StarPlus.”

For all those who don’t know, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke is a spin-off of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and in the show, Shaheer is seen as a  young, care-free boy but deep inside, he is very emotional and keeps giving gyaan to his friends and family.
