Shaheer Sheikh has been one of the most loved actors in Telly town, and in fact, he is also loved much for his good looks. The actor, however, is a rather shy person as far as someone complimenting him is concerned and reveals how he isn't very good at taking compliments. The actor also added how his co-stars know that they simply have to start praising him if they wish for him to go away. He also added that a lot goes into making someone look good on screen, and it is more of the director's creativity.
He added further how it is about the way the director presents you on screen and the notion about good looks is purely put by the director into the minds of the audiences. He mentioned how there is low motion, good clothes, lighting and a lot of other things. He said how it isn't just about how you look but how people look at you. None the less, he did mention that an overall personality does matter. The actor has said at many instances how he does not like watching himself on screen since he gets critical of himself, however, he added how he loved watching Dastaan E Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali.

Talking about how he has become a successful actor, and career choices, he said how he does not let the former affect the latter and that he wouldn't mind playing a smaller role if the role appeals to him and that he would never plan things depending on how successful he is.
