It is that time of the year when the whole Telly world eagerly is all dressed up and cheerful. They eagerly wait meet people from the fraternity and share some smiles with them at the Indian Television Academy (ITA) awards. And the wait got over, as the 19th edition of ITA awards took place yesterday (November 10) in Indore. It was indeed a grand affair as the whole Telly universe came under one roof including actors, directors, hosts, judges and more.
To acknowledge the hard work of the actors who put in their heart and souls for the daily dose of entertainment, trophies are awarded to many as a token of appreciation and encouragement. And to receive the same, is one of the most popular and loved shows of the Indian TV industry, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Yes, the YRKKH team took home two awards. A special award was given to the makers for becoming the longest running show on television. The second was earned by our beloved Naira aka Shivangi Joshi, and she was titled the 'Best Actress'. Shivangi was overwhelmed as she bagged the award. The beautiful actress thanked Rajan Shahi and her family for their immense love and support.
Many popular celebrities like Helly Shah, Ashi Singh, Shraddha Arya, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Shivangi Joshi, Mohit Malik, Shrenu Parikh, Gautam Rode among others dazzled the red carpet and graced the event. The occasion was all about laughter, dance, music and appreciating talents through awards. While some enjoyed the show as the audience, some articles like Shivangi, Mohit, Shrenu and others danced their hearts out and set the stage on fire.
