Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata which is one of the longest-running shows is now gearing up for a five-year leap and post the same Naira and Kartik will be shown as a separated couple. As per the current track, we saw how Naira and Kartik are facing a lot of issues and fight almost everyday post Naira starting her career. Kartik has been jealous of her success and he had even accused her of having extra-marital affair with her boss Mihir.

And now, we saw finally they mend their differences and they will go on a date. But again, as they were leaving, they were interrupted by Mihir's presence. But this time, Kartik is happy as he gets to know Mihir is committed and we are introduced to Mitali who is Mihir's girlfriend. Mihir's constant praise irks both Kartik and Mitali.
