Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s Mohsin Khan reveals his acting prep, says, 'Shivangi & I are biggest Kaira fans'
Mohsin Khan of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame opens up on his process as an actor, reveals being a big Kaira fan.
Mohsin Khan of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame is undoubtedly one of the most popular and credible actors we have on Indian television. Be it his chemistry with co-star Shivangi Joshi or pulling off a romantic, emotional or heartbreaking scene with equal finesse, Mohsin sure knows how to impress one and all with his acting chops. The biggest testimony to his talent is the amount of love and admiration he receives solely based on his onscreen and off screen persona. Despite winning so many awards, the actor keeps it humble, crediting his team for the magic they create on the screens. In an interview with IMW, the actor opened up about his preparations for a particular track and being the biggest fan of Kaira (Kartik and Naira) himself.
Mohsin highlighted that his process as an actor is to sink his tooth deep into a particular emotion and make it a part of his lifestyle in order to make it look more authentic. He shared, “Depending on the mood of my character, I change my preparations. If Kartik is going through emotional moments, I tend to watch lot of depressing movies to keep myself in that mood. If romance is in the air, I gear up watching lot of romantic films. As actors, we do our preparation to put in our best. But complete credit goes to our Director Romesh Kalra for guiding us throughout. He knows how to bring the best out of us. Whenever there is a changeover in character coming, he prepares me prior to it, so that I am ready for the next challenge. He instils confidence and motivates me to better myself.”
He also confessed to being a true Kaira fan and confided on remembering each scene of the popular onscreen couple. “In fact, it is not only me. Shivangi is also crazy about Kaira. We both have watched every episode of Kaira nearly 2 to 3 times. We actually remember everything from the sequences of Kaira. We are now close to 900 episodes and nearly 3 years of being in the show. But trust us when we say that we have watched our episodes so many times. Even today, we gear up to watch the beginning to our love story. It helps us identify the graph the characters have had. It will not be right if I say that we both have created the magic of Kaira. We have just been at the right place at the right time,” he told IMW.
Well, that’s really commendable. Mohsin sure is killing it as Kartik on the show, isn’t he?
