Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will see Gayu step in as the surrogate mother to Naira and Kartik.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been one of the most loved shows on Indian television. The show continues to rake in numbers on the BARC list and to add to the spice, Naira [Shivangi Joshi] and Kartik [Mohsin Khan] are seen dwelling with pregnancy issues on the show. It has been shown that Kartik's dadi has been insisting on a grandchild, but Kartik has been against it knowing the complications especially with regards to Naira and her health.
Now, it looks like he will finally succumb to the pressure as Naira too would insist on having a child. In a promo dropped a week ago by the channel, Kartik was seen getting frustrated when asked on having a baby, but after much insistence, he will be forced to go for surrogacy. And guess who would step in to help the duo? Well, none other than Gayu (Deblina Chatterjee). She will apparently be okay being a surrogate mother to Kaira's baby and surprisingly Dadi too will agree to it.
In the upcoming episodes, the entire family will be seen looking for a bride for Samarth. Meanwhile, Gayu stepping in as surrogate mother might ruffle some old feelings within her and create problems for Naira? Well, that is something we need to wait and watch. But one thing we are extremely certain about is, there will be lot of drama to witness in the future episodes.
