Mohsin Khan [Kartik] and Shivangi Joshi [Naira]'s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is witnessing a number of twists and turns in the last few weeks. According to the latest episodes, Naksh and Kirti are seen celebrating their wedding anniversary and are attempting to bring Kartik and Naira together.
Naksh and Kirti create situations that could bring Kaira close and guess what? it is working. In the process to prepare for the anniversary celebrations, Naira and Katik came together and even purchased dresses for each other. They shared an emotional moment too.
However, Kartik's mother Suwarna (Parul Chauhan) is unknown to this and will return to Mumbai to see Kaira getting close. This will obviously irk her. According to India Forums, she will feel betrayed and will be hospitalized. She will also express her displeasure to Kartik and will hand him divorce papers asking him to end all his ties with Naira.

Meanwhile, Naira and Kartik won the best Jodi award at the recently held Gold Awards. The duo even shared a selfie holding the awards and thanked fans for their love and support. It was two years back that Mohsin and Shivangi took over the show as Kartik and Naira and since then there is no looking back. The show has already completed over 2500 episodes and is one of the longest-running shows on the Indian TV.
