Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi's show to have a 2-year time leap
From May 21, 2018, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai which stars Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi as Kartik and Naira, will be having a 2-year time leap with the addition of fresh new characters.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is on its 9th successful year with Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi aka Kartik and Naira at the forefront of it all. The show has completed 2650 episodes so far and does not look to be stopping anytime soon.
The show will be a taking a 2-year time leap soon and confirming the same is the show's maker Rajan Sahi who said, "The show will undergo a revamp where the sets and the storyline is concerned. Not only is the story going to change but fresh talent will also be added to the cast."
Buzz is that the story will be based out of Udaipur, after the leap. A source, close to the show said, "Besides Udaipur, the story will show Mumbai city for the first time. Mumbai will be explored beautifully in the show. More characters will be included from the city in the storyline as well,"
"The success is because the makers have kept the core of the show always intact. And keeping that in mind, the soul and the texture of the show will not change. A number of shows have come and gone, but Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has always stood out as a strong pillar of Star Plus," the source added.
