Star Plus' popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai completed 10 years recently. The show is one of the longest running Hindi daily soaps on the television. It started as the journey of Akshara (played by Hina Khan) and Naitik's (played by Karan Mehra) arranged marriage. The show now focuses on Kartik (played by Mohsin Khan) and Naira's (played by Shivangi Joshi) story of their love marriage and the ups and downs which they deal with. Their fans lovingly address them as Kaira and their pairing is one of the viewers' favourite.
The show recently saw a huge change in its star cast. The character of Akshara and Naitik's elder son and Naira's older brother, Naksh will have a new face. Yes, actor Rishi Dev who initially played Naksh has bid adiue to his character. Even before Rishi, Naksh's character was played by Rohan Mehra. Well, now, the new face of Naksh is none other than the handsome and talented actor Shehzad Shaikh. Shehzad was last seen in Colors' Bepannaah.
Shehzad recently revealed on his Instagram story how he prepares for his character on the show. He watches the episodes on TV and makes sure to note down what changes have to be done and where he needs to improve.

Meanwhile, Naira and Kartik will soon welcome their first child in the family. The audience is excited to see how Kaira will take on the new journey of parenthood.
