However, according to rumours, when Suwarna (Parul Chauhan) will come to know about Kartik's growing closeness to Naira, she, along with Dadi, will plan to get Kartik married again.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaata Hai had premiered on the channel in the year 2009. The story is about the problems and struggles of the female protagonist, while she manages to balance her roles of being a wife and a daughter-in-law.
The show had initially started with Akshara (Hina Khan) and Naitik (Karan Mehra) as the lead characters, but over the years, has evolved, and now the story revolves around their daughter, Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and her husband Kartik (Mohsin Khan).
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaata Hai is one of the longest-running shows on the Indian television.
