Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s Avantika Hundal aka Mihika received threats for playing a negative character in the show
Mihika’s character played by Avantika Hundal in Star Plus’ show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, received a lot of backlash for turning negative in the show.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is one of the most loved shows on Television with people rooting for Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya) and Raman (Karan Patel) since forever.
Recently, Mihika’s character played by Avantika Hundal, received a lot of backlash for turning negative. Even as it was revealed later that Mihika was just pretending to be negative in order to save IshRa’s relationship, Avantika while talking to an entertainment portal revealed that she received a lot of threats following this on social media.
“I am very elated with the feedback. There were a set of people sending me threat messages on social media platforms, said Avantika.
She added, “But, there were others who understood it’s all acting and very kindly appreciated my work and loved the shades I’ve added to Mihika’s character.”
About playing the grey character, Mihika replied, ”I’ve played grey shades earlier. I enjoy playing any character, positive or negative as long as it challenges my potential. If I'm happy at the end of the day, that's all that matters.”
Well, the social media menace has been on the rise of late. we hope the audiences can differentiate between reel and real life characters.
Meanwhile, Karan, who has been trolled for his physique as well as acting skills, in statement said, ”You feel that I don't respect people and I am arrogant, then why don't you troll me from your real identity? When you troll me, is it because you hate me or it gives you satisfaction? Don't judge someone unless you know that person far too well.”
