Star Plus' popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein turned 5 years old recently amidst rumours of it going off air. Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Karan Patel, the leads of the show, along with the cast celebrated the milestone by gifting a sapling to the entire crew. The show initially was inspired by Manju Kapoor's novel, Custody, but later changed the plot completely.
Speculations of the show going off air has been around for the longest time, but the cast has always refrained from commenting on it. However, in a comment to India Forums, Divyanka reacted to it saying she doesn't "think" it is true. She said, "I am not sure. I don't think it is going off air yet. Well, it is not!" Well, we hope that's the truth. Meanwhile, rumour mills also suggest that the show will come up with a spin off soon.
Amidst all this, Divyanka is all set to make her digital debut with the show Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala wherein she will be sharing screen space with Rajeev Khandelwal. The first look for the show was revealed recently, and it was impressive for sure. Divyanka also turned a year older on December 14. She ringed in her birthday with her husband Vivek Dahiya who left no stone unturned to make it a special day for her.
DT also won the Best Actress Award at the Indian Television Academy Awards 2018 which were held recently. She thanked her fans and the entire cast for their support and believe in her.
