Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fame Divyanka Tripathi opens up on Nach Baliye 9's concept of dancing with ex flames
Winner of season 8, Divyanka Tripathi recently opened up and shared her opinion on the new concept of Nach Baliye season 9
Nach Baliye is one of the most loved and watched dance reality shows on television. Every year, 10 celebrity couples compete against each other to win the trophy and cash prize by impressing judges and audience with their killer dance moves. However, this year the theme is a little different. Along with celebrity couples, ex flames are also participating in the 9th season of the show which is being judged by Raveena Tandon and Ahmed Khan and co-hosted by Manish Paul and Waluscha De Sousa.
In a recent chat with Hindustan Times, season 8 winner and actress Divyanka Tripathi shared her opinion on the brand new concept and said, “It’s a wonderful concept, so much masala. I had watched the second episode and I was glued to the television, we couldn’t change the channel. It’s different from what has been happening since last seasons. There is always a silent wish that though these are exes, they should come together again. I was feeling that for most of the exes.”
When asked if drama is preferred in reality shows, the actress revealed, “I can’t say that but it’s something that should be left for the audience to decide because I am not really a reality show viewer. I don’t even know how these reality shows look on screen. I have worked in it but I neither watched my own appearances on Nach Baliye nor I have seen all episodes of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein or Dulhan. But this time I want to watch Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala. I am no one to judge here as I don’t know what kind of content actually works on television. I do my work and move ahead.”
