Yeh Hai Chahatein: Not Zebby Singh, THIS actor to play the negative lead in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein spin off

Ekta Kapoor’s popular daily soap Yeh Hai Mohabbatein starring Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya in the lead, which has been running successfully for six years now, is all set to go off air in December this year. Indeed, it is an emotional moment for the audience as the show enjoyed a massive fan following. However, the end of YHM is also coming with a piece of good news for the audience as the show will be replaced by its spin off Yeh Hai Chahatein.

Starring Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur in the lead, Yeh Hai Chahatein has already been grabbing the attention. And while the audience is eagerly waiting for the show to go on air, there is an interesting update about the lead antagonist of the show. So far, Manmarziyaan actor Zebby Singh was speculated to play the negative lead in Yeh Hai Chahatein. However, as per a recent report published in IWMBuzz, Zebby Singh has been replaced by Siddharth Shivpuri for the lead antagonist. To note, Siddharth is known for his role in Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes’ Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

I had stopped doing much television and I wanted to make YHM without the trappings of a TRP driven show. A show about a woman who cannot have children , a stepmother who according to Indian terms is considered bad ! Words in india like barren n evil stepmother got used so often and labelled women in d worst poss way. This show got so much love that it went on for six years. And from a non prime time slot to a prime time slot. Yeh Hai Chahatein deals with another social issue. It’s said often that it’s easier for men with children to get married again, but very tough for a woman with a child to find a suitable groom. Although an official announcement about the same is yet to be made, the lead cast of the show has already got the audience excited. Meanwhile, the makers also unveiled an interesting promo of the show introducing Sargun Kaur which got a thunderous response from the audience. For the unversed, Yeh Hai Chahatein will revolve around the story of a single mother and her journey to find true love. The show is expected to go on air On December 19, 2019.
