As Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will be going off air next month, its spin off Yeh Hai Chahatein will be taking over the small screen soon.
Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, which has been entertaining the audience for around six years now, is all set to end soon. It is reported that the popular daily soap will be going off air next month. While the fans are disappointed with the new development, the media reports also suggested that Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will be replaced by its spin off show titled Yeh Hai Chahatein which will star Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra in the lead. Ever since the news of YHM spin off has been announced, the audience has been eager for the show.
And as per the recent update, the much awaited Yeh Hai Chahatein will be going on air in December this year. According to a report published in Telly Chakkar, while Karan and Divyanka’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will be pulled down on December 20, Yeh Hai Chahatein will be premiered on December 23. It is also reported that the spin off show will be telecasted at the same time as Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and will be aired on Star Plus.
Interestingly, an exclusive Pinkvilla report also reported that the new characters of Yeh Hai Chahatein will be introduced by Divyanka and Karan as they will bid adieu to their story. “The story will then be taken forward by the new cast,” our source had stated.

Apart from Abrar and Sargun, the media reports also suggested that Parul Chauhan has been roped for the show. It was reported that she was finalized to play a negative character in Yeh Hai Chahatein. However, as per the recent development, the actress has walked out of the show and has been replaced by Aishwarya Sakhuja as the lead antagonist of the show. Now it will interesting to see if Yeh Hai Chahatein will be able to live up to the expectations the audience have because of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
