Sony TV has been introducing different genres of shows which are extremely and gripping. It's not like the regular daily soaps we watch or for which Television is known for. The channel has been making sure that their shows are content worthy, unlike most shows. After introducing shows like Haasil and Ek Deewana Tha, Sony TV is all set to launch its most expensive show, Porus, which is a period show set in 326 BC. It's the story about a historic warrior Porus who will be fighting all odds and especially his opponent the equally strong Alexander.
This is one of Sony's most expensive show. The team has already shot in Khaosak, Thailand two months back. It is first ever television show to be shot in Khaosak. The set is in Umbergaon, the border of Gujarat. The huge set is dived into 5 worlds namely Paurav Rashtra, Taxila Rashtra, Dasyu Rajya, Persia, and Macedonia.
Laksh Lalwani who is a popular face on Television and has been seen in several youth-based shows will be playing the lead character of Porus, actors like Rohit Purohit and Rati Pandey too will be seen in the show.
