Ankita Lokhande gained immense fame with her lead character in Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta. She also made headlines for dating Pavitra Rishta co-star and now Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. They dated for a really long time even when Sushant made his way into Bollywood. Fans were shocked when the two called it off and went their separate ways. Despite the bitter past the two seem have moved on and are pretty cordial with each other. Sushant is doing really well in Bollywood and meanwhile Ankita has not taken a back seat either.She too has moved on and has started to focus on her self and has started to do photo shoots and everything. Recently she took to Instagram to put up a gorgeous video where she is posing and she looks stunning.

Speaking of that Ankita Lokhande is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. She will be playing an important character named Jhalkari Bai, the one who used to disguise and shield Rani Laxmi Bai. Her uncanny resemblance to Rani Laxmibai helped her go in disguise and protect her Queen whenever required. She had also earlier expressed her disappointment when referred to as Sushant Singh's ex girlfriend. Ankita had said,"I don’t understand why am I [still] being referred as Sushant’s ex. I have my own identity. Why not talk about my work? Very soon, I will start shooting for my first Bollywood film and I hope everyone focusses on that."
Well we can't wait for another Television beauty to make her Bollywood debut.
